how is apple a patent troll? trolls are people who get a patent with no business but to sue people. apple uses every single patent they sue against in actual products they sell |

Yes, like 'rounded corners on rectangles'... Puhlease. |
|
|
an who have they sued for that?
and blame the patent office for giving such a stupid patent.
i do think all software patents are stupid and need to be shared, but calling apple patent trolls is just not even close to being the definition of what it means. |

Most females of most species have had that 'feature' for millennium. Patentable? Probably not. |

I am not aware of any pharmaceutical company suing another because both use rounded edges on their pills, are the same size and color. |

Sure they make products but name a single innovation that Apple has created or I'll even make this easier, name what is innovative about any iProduct that Apple makes. Apple is simply the evolution of products and in true Sony fashion and hardly worthy of a single real patent, hence why the patent office has to go as they wouldn't know real innovation if it kicked in the doors and ripped them a new one so they simply grant a patent for anything. Quick! Everyone bitch and complain about Microsoft too since they patented a box with an X on it! » www.patentadesign.com/ga ··· ent.htmlGoogle too. Google has a patent on the "ornamental design" of their webpage. That's right, Google has a patent on a simple search page. » www.patentadesign.com/ga ··· ent.htmlI don't remember anyone up in arms about these companies patenting such simple and mundane things. |

Have Google or Microsoft sued anyone using those patents? You won't get any argument from me that those are stupid (a box with an X on it should be covered by trademarks and not worthy of a patent, but welcome to the age of worse then useless patent office). Blake |

Clearly Apple copied Windows Mobile which copied the Palm Pilot as icons on a rectangular touch screen is hardly worthy of a patent as its previous existing art. |

that is because to apple they think everything should be patented and protected like its a vital technology idea.
If apple built a car they would patent headlights being on the front and then sue Toyota. |
