Is Rogers cutting off docsys 2.0 modem support in Ottawa?

Distributel said they are on December 6. At least their customers. I wont' be able to use Motorolla 5120 anymore, which worked fine on 18mb/512kb profile.

Still supported for Rogers customers, but you'll be stuck on the older speeds. No idea for TPIA customers.

Is anyone still using sb5120 in Ottawa? At the moment I'm on 18mb service with Distributel at Fallowfield POI. My in-laws on TSI's 18mb service (St.Laurent POI) were given sb5101n modem by rogers, because they couldn't get their sb5120 going for almost 2 weeks. I think Fallowfield POI might be the last one supporting sb5120 for TPIA, now I guess you need sb5101n.

I don't have a problem with buying D3, however giving me 7 days notice and taking away my grandfather plan was shot below belt....

Not really a Rogers issue. This will likely be better addressed in the Canadian Broadband forum.
