For the record, getting TV Guide HD would be the farthest thing from "Big" that I can imagine. The only thing WORSE than adding TV Guide HD would them adding the other .tv channel.

The TV GUIDE HD channel would not be my first choice to add , but I did watch an OK movie, My Dog Skip, with my toddler on that channel the other night. It would have been better in HD.
The TV GUIDE HD channel is not a complete waste like the .tv channels! |

Well, I think this is we're maxed out on any new HD channels as it would seem we will only see Fios remove channels to cut cost. Ignoring all the foreign channels, what has Fios really done big in the past couple of years? |

According to the channel PDF, FiOS states that TV GUIDE HD will be availiable in all markets in February. So I think def by March 1st, bc it may be contractual? Why would they say that if it wasn't true?
Some may not like this channel addition, but it is better then what they could add.
Anyway. I still state that , if they say they will add this channel in HD in all markets in Feb on a channel PDF that lists all channels in every package , it will be so? Correct? |

I agree that TCM HD would be great bc it's 1080. I was watching Ben Hur last night. Great movie, but in HD, ESP 1080, it would've been much much better.
Possibly compared to the quality of BBC America and BBC America HD. when we first got the channel in HD, I was amazed bc it was In 1080. It was a night and day comparison. |

I'd gladly take TCM HD over TRU-TV. Aside from NCAA what else does tru-tv show? Maybe they should consider a rotate of some of these HD channels. NFL net - it can go and bring in MLB Net. I don't blame other cable ops. from dumping channels that aren't producing. |

ID is a horrible example! It is a fantastic channel. A better example may be "if you want to carry MTV and VH1 you need to carry VH1 Soul" (a true crap channel). ID is one of the best basic cable channels out there. It is right up there with A&E, AMC (for the series, not movies), FX, History, NatGeo, and Discovery Channel itself. How dare you use ID in an example? LOL |

There are plenty of channels people want. Bring back the two Cinemax west feeds in HD. TCM HD, H2 HD, and Epix has a third HD channel. I am also sure there are those out there that would like to see OWN HD. What about MTV2 HD? There are tons of channels they could add. |

I realize that nothing on TCM is actually in HD and that it's all upconverted, and this offends purists. Sure, it could look better if it were true HD like the European version of the channel with enormous bandwidth, but I'll take what I can get.
I had TCM HD when I had Cablevision. It looked very nice. It's the only thing I miss about Cablevision (besides the 24-hour customer service staffed by actual local people with actual local accents, but I never used that much anyway). |
