Re: [Anveo] Difficulty porting number

sorry but you are getting the run around from Anveo

yes, Anveo

there is a 3rd party that takes numbers from one carrier and gives them to another - it can even happen very rapidly

someone at Anveo is jerking you around

they do not contact present carrier themselves to port your number

utter rubbish

try porting with another carrier and you will see

sorry if this is bad news to you

I don't know if the evidence supports that statement.

And it's in Anveo's interest to bring him on sooner rather than later.

There is more than one such intermediary offering such services.

Sometimes it can happen rapidly, sometimes it can take weeks.

Especially as this is a rather rural Canadian port from a rather small local provider.

Everyone knows that. It would be Anveo's CLEC, just as if I port a number to CallCentric it's being done by CallCentric's CLEC. But it's not needed to spell that out literally.
