There are lots of these companies monitoring traffic on p2p networks and offering their "services" to groups of lawyers who want to make money by launching lawsuits on behalf of media industry associations. So while there's no need to get particularly excited about this one, keep an eye on your politicians. Where there's money to be made, there will be continuing pressure to change the regulatory environment to make it easier to sue. Monitor what legislation your politicians are proposing and where they are getting their campaign contributions from. |
