orion940 posted : Xorg runs 15-20% CPU most of the time. It seems to be more so when I have Firefox open, or VirtualBox. If I quiesce the machine with nothing running, it does go down to 1,2%

Im running Kubuntu 12.04, 3.2.0-33-generic x86_64. I am running NVDIA fglrx 8.97. Xorg is 1.11.4 in MUON. The video card is ATI/AMD embedded in the motherboard.

It is annoying only because I get horrible keyboard lag. Does anyone have the same issue or were able to fix it?

O.
--
Windsor, Home of the Decorative Zamboni
