[DSL] Can't switch Bell home phone to Teksavvy home phone?
I just tried to switch my home phone from Bell to Teksavvy and was promptly told by the CSR that Bell has disallowed Teksavvy from taking on new home phone customers?
I don't get it. I am currently on DSL and would like to still have a home phone line (so no dry loop fee). I am in Burlington, are there any other options available to me.
I already called the CRTC and they indicated there has to be another competitor offering home phone service. I can't seem to find one though.
Teksavvy has put a stop to it for now.
Any reason why? I don't think I have any other options now?

Yes, that is correct. Right now there are certain limitations that are in place at the moment. If you see this following thread TSI Marc shares a few words on why/when in detail:
