Over ethernet I believe it maxed in the low 40s.

The wireless limit is expected given that is 802.11g's limit. Personally I am still running WRT54GLs on a 25Mb and a 100/100Mb (I just haven't gotten around to upgrading the router on that :) ) connection. On the 25Mb connection it works just fine except when I'm running Torrents or QoS. IIRC, on the 100Mb connection wired connections hit the limit at around 40-50Mb on plain speed tests without QoS enabled. I also used to have a third GL on a 28Mb connection, it had basically the same results as the 25Mb connection. Btw I run Tomato on all my WRT54G/GL so the results on DD-WRT would be different (likely less given my experience with DD-WRT).

decx posted : If you're talking about the WRT54GS and it is a version like the V4 then maybe. If you're running Tomato instead of DD-WRT, it would be able to handle the connection provided there isn't too many concurrent connections or other load like QoS on the system. However DD-WRT uses has quite a bit more CPU load than Tomato, so it might be borderline.
