The irony of common sense, it is not that common.
I cannot deny anything I did not say.
A kitten dies every time someone uses "then" and "than" incorrectly.
I mock people who give their children odd spelling of names.

A few things today... nothing earth-shattering...

- the venerable U2412M is up again at the usual price point

- WD MyBook, 2 TB @ $100 is about $30 less than Canada Computers right now, I'll probably pick that up as I was going to get one anyway

Also a good price on a decent low-end LG soundbar, but it's messy to configure a soundbar as an alternative to TV speakers for casual listening when you already have a home theatre setup.

EDIT: Sorry, Don, didn't see your post!

Better to get just two decent bookshelf speakers.

The XBox Holiday bundle is a pretty decent price at $229

It's OK, it's only $20 less than the regular price of $249.99.

Futureshop has the same bundle for that price, but also includes a $20 rebate towards Halo 4 and 50% off 3-months of XBL Gold ($12.50 value), so depending on what you're buying the Dell thing is either a better or worse deal.

$160 at NCIX, so it's 30 bucks off the cheapest I can find it.

That's a good deal. Black Friday prices for that drive were $149.99. Nice to see another $10 of PURE profit being shaved off the sale price. Lets not even talk about that retail price of $202.99 LMAO.

Yeah $140 for a 3TB WD Red is about as good as one can expect.

The TrendNet IP camera is a good deal too. I got one of them on the last Days and it works very well to monitor my front porch.

I might just get another one to monitor the back yard.

Really blah. That 2TB Passport? Dell has it for (if you click on the price) $170. Newegg has it for $150, or if you use a promo code, $140.

I've learned not to trust the stated "discount" amount, especially on non-Dell products. There are good deals around, but it's very inconsistent.

So I click on the link in the OP and I see a lot of VERY expensive computers.

2000 bucks for that Alienware?

WTF?? if you asked for 1000 I'd walk away laughing at you.

Anyone spending more than 700 bucks on a GOOD computer is not sufficiently bright enough to offer me advice on computers.

This thread should be renamed "Dell Days of Blah".

It's not hard to drop 700 bucks on a video card alone.
