Does Comcast somehow go directly to Level 3? Forgive my ignorance, but my understanding is that with Verizon the signal has to hop through Alter.net before reaching Level 3, whereas with Comcast the signal goes directly from their backbone to Level 3? I ask because I have a Comcast install scheduled, but with the speeds restored I'm considering cancelling and staying with VZ.
