Re: [NV] packet loss and high tcp delay They came out and fixed a couple other things, but not the issue I was seeing.
My escalation finally DID get someone out there to fix the (rather bad) noise floor we were seeing on an upstream around 2pm on the 12th.

| since earlier in the day i have seen no issues no spiking tcp delays no packet loss after 3pm
i have a smoke ping running and will be testing over the next 24 hours heavily
also have my follow up with k4 tomorrow so far so good

jvfricke - Unless you happen to be in the same node as bryant313, the fix won't help you. What is your problem? I know you sent me a PM with some DNS analyzer outputs, but everything on that output was normal and/or expected.

i am having packet loss again through cmd 100 batch to google.com or any site losing 1 to 2 percent again
and getting packet loss at my first hop on the dslreports.com line quality test
i thought i was done with this issue :/ |

seems if though it may have been a hiccup but i will continue to monitor and test for it |

i am once again seeing up to 5 percent packet loss my smoke ping tests and line quality ping tests on this sites tests
seems this is a never ending cycle it runs fine for a month or two then back to square one |

kudos:2 | I took a look at your node - this time it looks perfect (like probably one of the top 5%).
Your signal levels are good, no T3s or T4s, almost no errors, everything looks clean. Other people on your street look clean as well.
I've added your modem to a different monitoring system to see if we catch anything that way. |
