I am [not] a maven in such things, but perhaps some differences still remain. In fact, in this forum a couple years ago we discussed that the Comcast phone product is not uniform across their territories.

userofdsl join:2000-07-31 Brighton, MA	Cablevision, arriving in the 1980s, was the original cable service in Boston and some suburbs, and later became part of Comcast, possibly with intermediate ownership changes.
