| XAV5001 over heats, signal cutting out My 4 new Netgear XAV5001 will get very hot followed by the signal cutting out. To get the 4 adapters working again I have to unplug them all, wait a bit and then plug them back in. Then it will work for an hour or so before over heating and cutting out again.
Is there a fix for my four XAV5001 adapters??? I bought all 4 of them brand new for $200 a month ago. I managed to get to run at 300 to 350Mbps at max.
I had to switch back to using my 4 Netgear XAVB2001 adapters that I have been using for almost 4 years that I paid $150 a piece back in 09. There running at the full 200Mbps.
I had plan to upgrade to Comcast 300Mbps when It gets rolled out but now I guess I'll just upgrade to the 50Mbps from the 35Mbps speed I'm at. |
