Microsoft → Clean install of Microsoft Windows 8 Pro Upgrade?

Once you have paid, got your key, download the ISO and create the boot DVD can you without issues do a clean install of Microsoft Windows 8 Professional Upgrade on a new hard drive without a previous OS on it?

Yes or No?

I really would like to know this before I pay the $39.99 upgrade price.

Download and install evaluation of Windows 8, install windows 8 pro over top of that, as new install. Worked for me on Bootcamp on my macbook air.

Ok so a clean install of Windows 8 Upgrade DVD without a previous OS can be done but not before you do some registry hacking.

It is simple. You won't have a problem. I did it on one of my latest installs. Takes about 30 seconds using regedit.
