Re: Need to switch between Interleave and FastPath? Part 2

Hi all, I was wondering if FastPath would be viable solution for me, Verizon just recently replaced the modem but the speeds are still up and down.

Transceiver Statistics
Transceiver Revision 3.3.6.10.0.1
Vendor ID Code 4D54
Line Mode ADSL_G.dmt
Data Path INTERLEAVED

Transceiver Information Down Stream Path Up Stream Path
DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec) 1920 480
Margin (dB) 8.7 11.0
Line Attenuation (dB) 62.3 31.5
Transmit Power (dBm) 17.5 11.9

Additionally is there anything else I can do on my end to help with the speed? my max is 3000Kbits up, however, couple weeks ago I would always hit 3200 Kbits. Now I am lucky if I even go past 2000Kbits. (I have contacted Verizon numerous times regarding speed , ended recently with the replacement modem.) Thank you! I apologize in advance for anything I may have done wrong

You might want to check your stats at your NID and also consider getting Verizon out to check out the line. Your line is either heavily degraded or you're having an issue with perhaps distance of the circuit.

Apologies for the late reply, just finished finals Anyways may I ask for more clarification regarding why a line check would be needed? Thanks!
