| New FiOptics User - equipment question Hello,
I got FiOptics on Saturday, and I am not very happy with the router that was left here. It is a ZyXel a VSG1432-B101. It only had 10/100 mbps ports, seems to lock up when you are in the router configuration screens, and no firmware updates are available for it. I want to purchase one on my own that will hopefully work much better. Any suggestions? |

| Did you get the TV service too or just the Internet service?
The easiest thing might be to put the ZyXel device in bridge mode and use an external router *but* if you have the TV service the external router needs to support IGMP proxying. |
