Front Drivers Side Creak

I have a 2006 Ford Fusion and since the temperature has been cold I have noticed a creaking sound when driving or turning. It doesn't seem to be caused by going over speed bumps, just minor undulations in the road or turning the wheel when not moving. I have isolated it to the front drivers side. I haven't had a chance to take a video of it yet, but I found a video on Youtube that demonstrates my problem. I can make the noise like the person in the video. And it only happens when it's cold outside, usually less than 40F.

Thanks for any ideas as to what can be causing it.

Also reference TSB 06-24-7 (Front Suspension Noise) for 2006 Fusion.

Most likely it's the upper strut mounts.

Thanks for the help. I have scheduled a service appointment with my mechanic for next week. Hopefully it won't be too expensive.
