Looks like the a Newegg price for the 100 is $300 and 300 is $775. Nice!
My drool, however, is constrained by the image of paying almost as much each year for AV and IDP as the sale price. These subscriptions must be priced as a firewall counterpart to buying laser printer toner, because the cost of sending out the signatures each update for these two devices has to be negligibly greater than sending a smaller set of signatures to USG50 subscribers.

The Canadian price is completely out of whack ... the exchange rate is currently in favour of the Canadian dollar so WHY is it so much more expensive for Canadians? OH yea I forgot newegg must pay a healthcare premium plus other premiums that I've forgotten about maybe its a heating premium. |

Thanks. I've been considering getting a 20w for my parents and $139.99 is the lowest I've seen in a while. |

For $165 etc I would forget the 20W and get the 50 and use any Wifi router to provide wifi services (as an ap/switch). |

These are old people we are talking about, so logic doesn't apply. My mother is already upset at having a single router with two wires hanging off of it (in an unused bedroom upstairs) and having two separate devices with four wires would make her twice as angry.
She actually said to me, "Can I get rid of those wires if I get a wireless router?". Oy vey! |

Of course, I jumped on the USG20 when Amazon dropped the price to $126. I'm tempted to get the USG50 and just send back the 20 when it gets here.
Is the 50 that much better for a 50/15 cable connection and small home network? |
