This seems like the best approach to me. Call Comcast and explain the situation and see if they can reduce the monthly cost if you will pay the overdue balance. Try working with them without getting all worked up and see if you can find a compromise that works for both sides. That way your Mom won't have a black mark on her credit. |

| I've talked to her about it, and she's flat out refusing (she literally doesn't care about the mark on her credit. And she owes $800 apparently, or that's what their lock screen told me when I tried to access the internet the other day).
I'm going to just ask about an account in my own name, but if all else fails I guess I'll have to help pay off the balance, or pay it all myself if need be. |
