DISA STIGs on PC Encryption?
Does the DoD use PC encryption or only on external USB drives?
I cannot seem to find any documentation from the DISA STIGs on this.

What you are looking for is the DoD policy for Data at Rest (DAR) encryption.
The STIG is at:

Look for "Removable Storage STIG - Version 1 Release 2" under "Removable Storage".

Thanks
So it looks like that the STIGs do not have encryption policies for Desktop PCs. Only for removable devices such as USBs, flash drives, and mobile phones.
