for the Cisco and SMC3DGN when it goes blue it does mean multi-channel is enabled. you can also login into your modem and look at the cable status and i t should show multiple channels.
Only the SMC has blue LED indicators. The Cisco modem requires you to login to the web interface to see if channel bonding has been enabled in your area.
no, the Cisco one that Rogers provides goes blue for multi channel. I know this because a few months ago in Ottawa when multi-channel upstream started getting activated, my US light on my Cisco modem turned blue and sure enough after checking the web interface it showed it had multi-channel.
The Thomson 476 modem which TPIAs mostly ship out also does the same thing.
