Try temporarily disabling security in your router. Ensure your router is set to 'Enable SSID Broadcast'. Security Disabled - not using WEP or WPA since I am out in the country with no nearby homes. Maybe the Wii does not accommmodate WEP or WPA. I use a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Router. It works OK with my Wii and Neflix runs almost all the time OK. Good luck!
