well in a legal way he makes sense though. Someone using a copyrighted tune in say a Youtube video is not doing it to steal the music.

I disagree. I'm not a lawyer but I believe that there's "fair use" in the copyright law to cover situations like you suggested. Using a copyrighted work. in full and without permission, is stealing IMO. -- Don't feed trolls--it only makes them grow!
