I have the same (rooted) and physically use it the same. It's never once reset. It's on its third OS version. I do have a bit of white screen flicker but that's been it.

Google's customer service sent me an email thanking me for calling the second time, but their message did not indicate if they had changed the shipping address. :huh:

Known affected devices: Nexus 10, Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4.

File this one under "critical," as well. I myself have experienced this bug - my Nexus 7 rebooted no less than 4 times this weekend, several when it was just sitting idle with the display off. That's... bad. I've since done a factory reset, and in the last hour, so far so good. You'd think a problem this serious would be limited to a pretty specific subset of hardware, but no - everything but the Nexus 4 is affected (which seems to be the case for every one some of these bugs, oddly) all Nexus devices appear to be affected (thanks for the input about the Nexus 4, guys). The reboots occur when opening webpages in Chrome, using Play Magazines, and a variety of other circumstances (like doing nothing at all).

I have not had this problem with my case (at least not to this point in time), but have seen any number of threads on Nexus 7 cases attesting to this issue.

Found a "call me" option in google play under Contact Us, but it didn't give me an option for hardware so I checked app. The CSR who immediately called me provided the nexus 7 customer service number 855-83-NEXUS and the CSR at that # immediately agreed to send me a replacement. Gave a good survey review.

Suspect its a hardware problem related to the way I was holding the device and/or the leather case. This could be a coincidence, but both times it reset I had been typing with the device for a little bit.
