Re: [BC] TELUS High Speed Turbo 25 Usage being reduced 50%

Telus senior communications manager Shawn Hall told The Huffington Post today that the changes are being put in place "to better manage internet investment," and added that the company’s bandwidth caps are high enough that even the heaviest bandwidth users "have more than enough."

Can you believe that nonsense coming from this TELUS paid pooch scrambling around for a response after TELUS was caught trying to sneak this one through?

QUESTION #1 for TELUS senior fart-catcher Shawn Hall:

If the heaviest bandwidth users "have more than enough", then why reduce the bandwidth caps at all - in my case by 50%?

If the heaviest bandwidth users "have more than enough", then why would TELUS take a PR hit like this unless it's intending to start enforcing the usage caps and just like it says on the TELUS website, start charging a $2/GB over-limit fee?

DUH - can't you do better than that?

QUESTION #2 for TELUS senior fart-catcher Shawn Hall:

Why is there no live link to this "Important information" that people can click on simply by visiting the TELUS website Mr. Hall?

Why did I have to supply the tiny link included at the bottom of my e-mail 'bill ready' notification that most people wouldn't even notice?

I'm very happy to see that this link is now being spread around to other sites as well.

Your company actually thought that it could sneak in a 50% reduction in usage for the same price and that nobody would notice, didn't it Mr. Hall.

That's highly disrespectful and fortunately for loyal TELUS customers your company FAILED.

Here's a new slogan for you free of charge Mr Hall:

OMG, TELUS just called me and a guy who sounded like he was from the Philippines offered me a special on Optik TV.

Foggy: "Uh, no thank you, have a nice day"

He really made mine.
