Re: Windstream High-Speed Internet: STAY AWAY! That's horrible man. I see similar speeds unfortunately as well. I'm sure it's another DSLAM over subscribed. Typical Windstream move. I thought fiber would eliminate that bottleneck. These guys just can't figure it out. Keep us updated! |

 | Any word on upgrades in areas that could take some of the overburden off of Campobello area customers? |
|
 | Not a word. It's always a mystery on what work is being done, where it's being done and how close it is to completion. They basically assume something is being worked on but of course can't disclose an ETR or any details that might actually be helpful.
It is as if the entire support team tier is always in the dark. They are frustrated, we are frustrated...and the corporate execs are rich, lol. |

Windstream was finally honest with me, they said there are no plans to fix my service in 2012, 2013 or 2014. Basically ever. Pretty unreal but that's what you get with this horrible company. Stay far away if you can. |

| it is called "need to apply for funding" except they just a humongous pile of it from the government to provide internet in the out reaches with 4 meg down. yea right, they can't even provide what we are paying for now. How are they going to provide 4 meg to every rural home. I am on the edge of town and can't even provide 1.5 Mbps on a 3 Mbps account. |
