[FireFox] Fx cookie deletion does not "take" on Win 8

I have Fx 10 ESR on a new Win 8 Pro computer (yes, I know there is a new version of FX ESR but I am on heavy overload right now just trying to cope with Win 8 on a new DESKTOP with no touch screen monitor...I don't need to have to cope with a new version of Fx right now also).

I have Fx set to ask about cookies and to always reject third party ones. When it asks, I accept a few ...usually session only ones. Because I don't close Fx often, I go in and delete session cookies after i am through with the site that needed them.

When I again go into Options, and go to delete some new cookies, I see that Fx has PUT BACK ALL COOKIES THAT I EARLIER DELETED!!

Fx appears not capable of handling cookies correctly on Windows 8.

Re: [FireFox] Fx cookie deletion does not "take" on Wi

Before assuming this is an across the board Fx issue you should install the latest official release of Fx (v17.0.2) and test the cookie feature.

If it works then it is a bug limited to 10 ESR and you can contact the dev.
