Re: Question on Wireless Security-with a Netgear 7550N Gateway

Oh ok, Router information stated WPA2 AES had to run at N Speeds while on WPA2 AES

But if not, then great, I can increase the security, and be all set

Here is what it says on wireless setup for the Netgear 7550N Gateway from At&t

With Security Enabled, 802.11n requires WPA2-AES to operate at 11n rates

If that is just nothing to worry on, then i'll work on securing network better tomorrow first thing in the morning

Set the router for N speeds, and as stated, it will fall back to G as necessary.

Problem--Devices won't connect when set to N, Tried Wireless Mixed mode, with WPA2-PSK (AES) well that not working so well either with Familys Nook Tablet. So should I downgrade the Security to WPA-PSK(TKIP), and 11G only?
