[WIN7] Duplicating the settings of an existing user

Since recently I had been doing alot of reimaging of PCs running Windows 7, I would like to somehow create a batch file script after logging in with the new user account profile.

So what i do now, once the image is restored, I logon with my main Admin account and the image build for that Admin account is setup such as the time using 24 Hr format time, date formats, adjusted for best perfomance option, Taskbar settings, and such.

I want to create the same exact settings after I logging in with the new user account profile perhaps running a batch script which would copy over the custom settings from the main Admin account over to the new account so I dont have to adjust the same settings everytime after I restore an image or after creating new user accounts. Its just a pain in the rear to adjust everything for a new account such as to show the quick launch tool, time format settings, taskbar settings, wallpaper settings, and etc...

So can anyone here perhaps provide a batch script to run after logging into that new user account to make the same exact settings that were used on the main account?

Both accounts are Admin accounts

Thanks in advance

Anyone know of a Batch script that I can use once logged on to the new user account that I can run this script and have the same wallpaper, time and date formats, taskbar settings, icon settings FROM the other user account? Both accounts are Admins.

Thanks

I'm not sure about a script file, however easiest thing to do is to replace the default user account with your customized account. This way Windows will automatically pass custom settings to newly created accounts. Once this is done, take a new image.

A google search for 'replace default user profile windows 7' shows some helpful sites. You can also go to »support.microsoft.com/kb/973289
