 | [OOL] Optimum App: 3222 error My Optimum App for Laptop has stopped working for no apparent reason. Fine on Tuesday. Non-functioning on Wednesday.
My system (MacBook Pro) exceeds min requirements for processor speed, memory and free disk space. OS ver is 10.7.5.
I've done the following: Cleared cache Erased all cookies Uninstalled app (and secure emptied trash) Deleted Silverlight Reinstalled most current version of Silverlight Updated Flash plug-in Reinstalled Optimum App Modified the firewall to specifically allow a connection to Optimum App
Still nothing.
Oh, BTW, I spent hours with Tech Support who couldn't fix the issue. They escalated the issue to Engineering (yeah...right...). Still waiting for a call back.
Any ideas? |

 | At this point, unless you can pinpoint any hardware/software update that was done since Tuesday, I'd wait for them to call back. You did the basic troubleshooting. |

Re: [OOL] Optimum App: 3222 error -RESOLVED It all came down to resetting the cable modem.
I hadn't had an interruption in service or problem with voice, internet or cable so it never occurred to me that there might be an issue with the modem.
Once it was reset, the problem went away. I'll probably power cycle my wireless router just to make sure everyone is playing nicely. |
