V-portal VDV21-VD to be used with Google Voice?

i have a VDV21-VD unit not being used for the past two years;
since i canceled Vonage; started using Google free Voice service
i was wondering if its possible to unlock the V-portal VDV21-VD router;
then configure it to work with Google's Voice?

The problem is not with unlocking the device which is possible. After that he device can be used with other VoIP providers that use SIP.
Google Voice however uses a different signalling protocol (XMPP), it's not SIP like the majority of VoIP providers.
