Yes I understand how CRTC reviews the fees but I thought its Bell that approaching them for an increase? So I don't understand how you say... .
But if you left Bell for the price increase of Jan even if you go to any other service provider at the end of the year it ALL comes bout the same price.
For example my bill for home phone (basic) will be $12 to start (it would be $32 with Bell). It increases to $22 after a year. But then with the other discounts and promos... my new and existing TV services with Cogeco were discounted $35 over 2 yrs.
Unfortunately I need a home phone for our security system to work, unless I change to cellular or ISP link but that requires an upgrade to my old system, which is cost prohibitive. Thay have to configure it to work with VOIP which is not an issue.
