And you inspected grounds of the ONT or other VZ equipment?

Sorry, just trying to learn a bit here... I work in another industry where electrical and signal grounds can be a challenge. Just interesting that they had a contractor specifically setup to go inspect their grounds.

At one time there were 100 of us. The NYS PSC demanded it after a complaint and after they inspected and found a roughly 40% compliance.
We inspected to ensure the ONTs were properly grounded and the ground used went back to the main electrical ground.

I don't recall though what problems the grounding caused that forced the PSC action?

There were no problems. Just non-compliance with the NEC. Speculation was that the cable companies complained to the PSC because they didn't want the competition.
