| He's right about one part. No more bubble lights. We had them when I was a kid and I managed to snag the last few made. I do have lights that are made to look like candles, but they could be converted to LED.

I found an old strand of c9 bulbs in my basement, like the ones you posted, to put on my tree this year and I love them. Made me feel like a kid again. I also put them outside. They are so easy on the eyes. Not like the crappy Led lights that blind you.
I agree. First time I am in agreement with Dude. I think the new LED lights just look too fake- the colors are too bright and vivid, which may be great to some of you, but I don't need lights so bright it burns my eyes to enjoy Christmas. |

Would never go back to those old, clunky, HOT (fire hazard anyone?) bulbs that the color chips off of. Maybe we should go back to using the old, lead tinsel too that you had to save from year to year. ugh.... |

You really like those lights that are 7watts each?
Sure they are basically 100% efficient for those that heat their house during Christmas, but if you have them outside it is basically wasting money.
Personally, I like good quality(YES, they are available) LED lights over those hot little buggers.
I guess if you don't have to pay the electric bill it doesn't matter. |
