Prior to this card, I had a used Radeon 7970 that I got for cheap. The card itself was a beast, but I had persistent issues with it and WoW (DX9: slower than expected; DX11: horrendous microstutter, crashing/BSODs), from Catalyst 12.4 to 12.11 beta and everything in between. It surprised me as that was the first time I had a relatively serious issue with an AMD/ATI card.
I popped in my spare PC's GTX 460 temporarily and got more consistent performance/no microstutter. I then decided to get the 680 and sell the 7970. So far I've been happy with it. The two game coupons were a nice bonus as well.
