Re: [CFL] SBG6580 FIRMWARE1) Who is everybody and they are right...we update automatically
2) There are no connectivity issues with your version of software, in fact it's been very stable as these things go.
3) We roll out firmware in groups not all at once
4) Instead of demanding something and stating something "way overdue" when it isn't open a direct forums thread with just your IP so I can se whats really going on...
5) What do you mean "I have no problems with other modems"...how many modems have you had and what makes and models and when. |

disreguard this reply I am just waking up. I just wanted an answer about the firmware. The tech that comes to my building recommended I go to a different modem, not a gateway. And in a quote from comcast, Re: Comcast Replacement Modem
Postposted on Sat Oct 29, 2011 3:23 pm I think the Motorola SB6120 or SB6121 are the best DOCSIS 3.0 modems around. Never had much luck with the modem/router gateway devices. Need i say more. The tech says they are having a lot of problems with the SBG6580.
