i trying to talk to then about x1 dvr with double play but they told me it was not avalible anyware with double play. how did you get x1 with double play

Getting a Gateway 2 today

I am going to the Comcast office today to get a gateway 2. Right now I have a gateway 1 with my x1 platform. The gateway 2 is a dual wifi device with MOCA. They said that if you already have the x1 triple play installed you can just swap it out.

Oh yes you can get the x1 platform with the double play now. They have been installing it around here and it is also on the webpage. Hazel Park Michigan.

have they stopped deployment? Haven't heard any new cities in 2 weeks now!!!!

they said that the next round of deployments are scheduled for early September

i cant access it because my account is linked to a bulk account because my appartment complex pays for some level of my cable service, so can you post a screen shot that would be great

Nope. Comcast is about 20% SA- Cisco and 80% Motorola.
And x1 is available now in both areas now. But I can't get cltv in hd.

Will that include the keystone region?

Getting x1 installed now with my double play

The Red Light on My X1 Dvr is not on when its recording and when i look at recordings and recorded it does not show up till its done WTH? has any one seen This? or does it not record if you watching that channel ?

Well i set a bunch of new recordings and they did not show up so i up pluged it and now its all good Not sure whats going on ?

Mine is doing the same thing .Plus used to hit record button while guide was up and would put a red circle on guide indicating it would record. Will unplug and reset later I am recording some programs right now.
Did a device restart and things are back to normal !!

im not able to schedule any new recordings, i've reset via the device settings menu, unplugged for a while and no new scheduled recordings or on the fly recordings are taking place (all recordings set up before tuesday work fine). Setting recordings up via online or app also doesnt work. Anyone have any recommendations?

Lou, I've had it since the spring as an existing customer but had to beg, plead, and sell my dog. Might be easier now. If you get turned down, send a nice note to the Executive office.

Lou we have it as an existing customer - no one even asked - just said you have triple play you can have it

Set up an appt to have X1 installed that was cancelled byComcast because we didn't have Triple Play. We haveTv, Internet and Voice. But th problem was that our Condo Assn pays for a level of TV service that we add onto. Sooo we didn't have a Triple Play contract. I got a great SA last night who switched us to a Triple Play package and even saved a bit of money. It took about an hour to finish but I think it was time well spent. We are scheduled now to get X1.

Why are the guides so incredibly slow on all the slave boxes I have but fine on the main anyroom DVR box I have?...The dvr function works fine on all the slave boxes, no lag at all really...so any idea on why the guides would be so slow but not the dvr function?
