what i am trying to do to get x1 dvr is to setup a dvr installtion and request the pace XG1 or the Pace PCRNG210N DVR i will see if this works

Hello All I just received my Comcast X1 install today. I have one X1 DVR and 3 of the smaller Hubs. I haven't messed with it too much yet but i do have software version 4827 on the main DVR.

I live in Elkton, MD so anyone that lives in the area it is live here. I called and selected the prompts that took me to the retention department. The rep setup the install and even removed the installation fees. Thats the key. The rep in the local payment center told me that if i went through retention they would not charge any install fees. This was true as I didn't even have to ask.

Noticed a new "Headlines" app today. You can go in, read stories - and have them emailed to you.
