Looks like they had to push out a new code (not surprised).

i had problems today as well jeep. I'm glad to know it wasn't just me and my box. The dvr portion in particular was very glitchy. I had the spinning icon often and had to keep escaping and then rentering just to delete a program off my dvr. |

lot of software problems seems like. Reminds me of when they first released the dvr here then iguide. a lot of problems still problems even though the iguide has been out for 5 or 6 years now. |

Looks like they pushed another new build of Server code overnight - and the DVR is now working this morning.

DVR was working for me as well this morning. However I just got home from work and I have that wonderful system maintenance message for the DVR again. |

I spoke to someone today and they said they are basically moving to a whole new server platform, not just a patch. He said it would hopefully be in place in the next day or two. Fingers crossed ! |

kudos:2 | I can randomly see and play recorded shows - but if I go to Scheduled or Deleted - I get the "Maintenance" message. So, something is still amiss somewhere. |

1 edit | Sounds like the issue I had when I first got home an hour ago. All of the folders in my DVR seem to be working normally as of this message.
*EDIT* Was about to post that I spoke too soon because as my program ended and I deleted the show, I got the DVR maintenance message under "Recordings" and "Scheduled" but my shows in the deleted folder were still listed. However when I scrolled back up the DVR maintenance message disappeared and my folders are back to normal. |

Sounds like even with the smallish deployment of the X1 platform that's out there today it was underestimated on how much of a load it would place on Comcast's server side.
I'll say it again, everything 100% in the cloud seems like a bit of a foolish idea considering the experiences here. |

| Well that didn't last long. Now all I'm able to view are deleted programs. Back in maintenance mode. How something can work perfectly fine one minute, then lose all functionality the next, then be fine again is just mindblowing!!! |
