 | [Connectivity] Need some advanced help if possible. I have a VPN for work that I'm unable to connect to even though I can ping it perfectly. My Sys Admin suggests I get with Comcast upper level techs.
"I'm gonna have to suggest that you contact Comcast support and find a way to get to their upper tier agents. You should be able to reach both of those sites from anywhere in the world that has an unfiltered HTTPS connection to the internet."
I'd really appreciate some help on this. Is my HTTPS connection filtered?
If u PM me I can provide the service address etc...
Thanks in advance.

What error(s) are you seeing?
Are you connecting through a router? If so, how is it setup?
Please provide details about your network setup, the VPN in use, and the error(s) or specific symptoms of the problem you're seeing.
If it looks like truly a comcast issue, then you can always post in the comcast direct forum, but let's do some initial triage here first (note that this forum is public, so do not put any personal/account info in your posts here). -- "I drank what?" -Socrates |

After you attempt to connect, try this:
1. click the icon in the systray 2. click advanced 3. click the "message history" tab. 4. copy and paste that info into this thread (you will likely want to mask out the last 2 octets of the IP addresses in there and/or host names, user names, etc). E.g. change 1.2.3.4 to 1.2.x.y and so on. -- "I drank what?" -Socrates |

Just to rule out your company's end of things or your laptop VPN client installation. -- "I drank what?" -Socrates |

Under that same advanced window, there's a button labelled "Diagnostics...". I haven't ever run that, so I'm not sure what it does, but perhaps it will give more details. -- "I drank what?" -Socrates |

 | I don't have the Diagnostics option.
Forum won't let me post the entire tracert
