When I first met Alain in Cebu The Macarena was the hit. It took the USA and world by storm, and in Cebu, every dolled up Jeepney with beastie speaker systems was plying the streets with The Macarena full blast. It was really something. All the neighborhoods had their Jeepneys (privateer bus operators in WWII era inspired Jeep mini buses replete with accoutrements).
It was a heady sensation, traveling around a bustling strange foreign city with friendly natives who mostly speak English amazingly, in love, and taking it all in while bass speakers in buses boomed the beat of this specific song.
For those of you that don't know about Jeenpneys, here is a photo of one. -- Join Teams Helix and Discovery. Rest in Peace, Leonard David Smith, my best friend, you are missed badly! Rest in peace, Pop, glad our last years were good. Please pray for Colin, he has ependymoma, a brain cancer, donate to a children's Hospital.
Yep went to see the Dave Clark 5 in person when I was 13. Uh, just recently I ran into a bunch of pictures of Dave Clark and Freddie Mercury, lol. Kinda blind sided me first but 10 minutes later I was fine.
Yeppers. I usually never have problems with inserting a video. But I forgot that I had changed all of my videos to a mp4 format so I could listen to a whole list of videos from my Windows Media. I love Il Volo. I still wonder what has happened to the "Three Tenors" since Luciano Pavarotti passed away? Are Il Volo taking over yet?
I have a whole collection of Opera and alternate between Opera and Freddie Mercury/Queen.
