 | Bell Fibe and WDTV Live settings.... I need help deciding if changes or settings need to be adjusted in order to stream my files wirelessly to my WDTV live. All is connected wirelessly and most files play without issue but some files studder, skip and a "thinking" icon pops up on the TV when the unit cannot keep up with the streaming movie play. It makes is very annoying a tiresome to watch movies in this manner.... When I connect a usb drive with the same movie file, it play smooth. When I play that some movies file wirelessly, is shudders and times out...
Where should I start to try to improve the connection between the 2 devices?
I have no idea where to turn!
Thanks in advance!!!!! |

 | First of all this is off topic and has nothing to do with Fibe TV. Post this on the WDTV forum. Your problem is with your wireless connection. Did you try to stream your videos using a wired connection? |

 | reply to Duckmanfoo Can you please direct me were to a direct this question to?? I have Bell Fib TV and Bell Internet...
Thanks |

 | It stutters and skips because the wireless connection is not at peak efficiency.. or too far from each other. Or any interference can cause this as well such as a microwave. Found this out myself while heating popcorn during a movie. ) |

 | Google is your friend. You're having an issue with your WD TV, not Bell.
Stuttering is a common issue with the WD live TV over wireless regardless of wireless signal strength and or quality. |

 | reply to Duckmanfoo Not sure which wireless Hub Bell provided, the quality the wireless functions isn't that great on some of them, however neither are the wireless functions of the WDTV Live. If you can use a Ethernet cable between your WDTV and the rest of your network. |

 | reply to Duckmanfoo Other than an ethernet cable, any other recommendations???
Pointing the modem in a certain direction? Anything??
I have the Sagecom F@st 2864
