I will be honest. If I had to choose between aluminum for $10,000, and vinyl for $7,000, I'd choose the vinyl.

For that much, I'd go with cement-fiber board siding...(can one still get Aluminum siding?)

LED Lights look "cold"

I have to say that practically speaking LEDs Christmas lights are good for many reasons...BUT, I AGREE that the light they produce is harsh,
artificial looking and most importantly COLD looking.

Humans senses ARE analog, so it figures that non digital light sources will look better to many of us.

I have YET to see a consumer quality "warm white" LED lamp that doesn't give off that icy blue color at least to some degree. I detest that color!
