[Raiding] Terrace of Endless SpringI haven't been able to raid in a week (GPU and software issues). So I've missed a little progress by my guild. They finished up HoF last Thursday, and in just over 4 hours are 3/4 in Terrace of Endless Spring.
So, currently we are 6/6 MSV, 6/6 HoF, and 3/4 TES...all strictly 25 man content...Bleeding Hollow's #3 Horde 25 man guild and US #323.
Since I missed the TES progression this past Sunday, I was wondering if any of you guys that are raiding 25s are into the Terrace and could give me any pointers on the differences in LFR and normal modes. |

I remember a alliance guild I would run into in BGs from your server called the Ravens.....bad pvpers, hope they are not an indication of Horde presence on Bleeding Hollow. |

Well he hasn't said anything about doing MV heroic yet, you'd think they'd be doing MV heroic by now with that progress. |

I've honestly not touched a BG/RBG/Arena this expac. So I honestly couldn't tell you what the skill level on the server is PvP-wise.
From a PvE standpoint, it's pretty much your run of the mill high population US server...you've got 2 or 3 guilds that are really pushing progression hard, 20 or so guilds with similar progression as mine, and then hundreds anywhere from 4/6 MSV to 3/6 HoF. |

I'm pretty sure my raid leaders are waiting until we kill Sha of Hate to start heroics.
Honestly there are only a couple of pieces worth doing MSV Heroic for...so I could see us skipping it all together. |

You have to complete MSV 6/6 to go into HoF right? |

Someone in the raid does.
And the same for going from HoF to Terrace. |

and just to make sure, that's normal, not LFR complete :P.
Just one huh? So we can do 4/6 and skip to HoF to do more till others get geared up... |

You sure can, as long as someone's done 6/6 normal in Mogu'Shan. |

You dont have to be 6/6 MV to normal HoF. We are 4/6 MV and are doing HoF. |

Good looking out.
I just assumed it was like that since when I started raiding with my guild they had already killed WoE once and started HoF the next week (my second week of raiding with them). |

said by Antonica:You have to complete MSV 6/6 to go into HoF right? NO that's only HoF to do ToES And for ToES you can't zone into ToES if YOU don't have the achev, IE its not like flipping it to heroic (which only needs 1) but its an entry lock you can't enter till you have the achev. MV is kinda pre-tier without it granting any entry to anything. |

I wasn't going to try and make a raid this weekend with the holidays coming up... but tempted to go into HoF now to see what we can do there. |

First two bosses are pretty much just a retard check.
Garalon is where you run into gear limiting your success. |

IMO Bladelord should be named Windlord
After all there's lots of wind in that fight. |

McBrain Which guild? I hope we have not picked on each other out in the wild. Skittles Skill level is okay on Bleeding Hollow. It has an active PvP player base with the normal range of skill that goes from less than skilled to it's Gladiators and Hero's of the Alliance. |

Sha Touched agility staff dropped off Tsulong and Sha Touched intellect staff dropped off Lei Shi...
I'm still short one sigil of wisdom, so I figured I'd go balls out for the 503 dagger and upgrade it twice. A 511 item level weapon will probably last long enough for the dkp cost of the Sha Touched sword to drop to a reasonable price. Then I'll grab it up and gem it...without having to worry about dropping 10k gold to move my gem from the LFR version or some crap. |

You could get some charms and have a chance ay a 0 DKP drop of the sword. |

Must I bring up the Baluga Whale story again?
I'd like to keep my current 5 week no dailies streak alive. |

I know you're scared but if you had elder charms then you wouldn't have to rely on DKP
If I know a boss has something I want I burn a charm on him and then if it dropped in the normal loot someone else can get it.
besides I have like 10+ weeks of charms. |

said by DarkLogix:besides I have like 10+ weeks of charms. I completely understand. And I like having 10+ weeks of time with my family. I've never done dailies, and I won't ever...not even 3 months from now when I'll literally have nothing else to do with my time but play WoW. Loot existed before charms and it will continue to drop as long as the game is playable. I've raided for 5 years without them (charms), so for some reason they don't hold that much weight in my mind, probably because I'm stubborn and lazy. If I enjoyed dailies and had 30 charms in my bag I'd probably have a different opinion. |

with the rate of charm earning one week you can get 2+ weeks worth of charms (maybe 3 by now)
last I looked I had 1400+ lesser charms and have only been doing 1-2 daily hubs a day. (tillers though sometimes just the one for the token, and shield wall)
I get that you hate it but in time you'll lag behind on the gear. |
