Mail server and Webmail upgrade

Hello all,

Today we have launched our new mail systems. There is only one change you may need to worry about and that's that you must now use your full email address to login.

Please provide feedback. The gang has worked hard to replace it and it's been one of those things that have taken years to fix properly. Hopefully we've got it right.

I just finishing checking it out and it looks very modern. I'll spend some more time testing and getting a feel for it over the next week or so.

Thanks for the hard work on this!

Also, we have created an FAQ on how to change the username for those that need it.

Do you support or plan to support ActiveSync? Is this still POP3/IMAP? I haven't ever used Teksavvy email before.

I just tried sending myself a few test emails to my personal one and I was able to delete all of them. Have you tried looking at your settings?

I get the same problem trying to delete messages as well. Says it cannot connect to the storage server. Other than that, its definitely a good improvement over the previous client. Nice work

Gabe is looking into it.

It may be as a result of the migration.. the content from the old mail server is actually still on the old mail server... it will take some time to move everything over one mailbox at a time...

For sure. I've used roundcube for years and the latest version is very slick.

For whoever is having issues deleting emails. Do you have a Trash sub-folder? (left hand menu)

Another thing is that I did restart the service a little while ago which may have killed your session. You may simply need to log back in.

It seems to be related to needing a "Trash" folder

»trac.roundcube.net/ticke ··· /1485017

It's supposed to be there by default, will find out why.

For now what you can do is manually create it. Name it Trash with a capital T.

I did not have a trash folder when I did my initial review in the second post of this thread. I thought this was odd at the time. I was also missing Drafts and Sent. The navigation area on the left only showed Inbox.

I was able to delete an email without issue though. My BB though is not synched anymore, have to re-auth the account looks like.

Looks great!

Finally something more polished than a default open source mail setup, which while functional, looks ameteurish...
