Ann Arbor, MI | Boy of 8 becomes Microsoft Certified Professional I've never had much respect for certifications, as they don't provide any proof of ability to function in the real world. Makes me wonder why spend the money for an eight year old to get MCSA. I only have certifications because HR uses them for hiring decisions.
Last week Marko set a new record for the youngest person to ever attain the status of Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator.

On the flip side, what big achievements had you achieved by your 8th birthday?
Sleeping throughout the night without waking up, and not crapping in my pants everytime someone yelled 'Boo' at me
was probably my top ones.
Gotta give some kudos to this kid for achieving this so young.
*sniffles* they grow up so fast...

I don't think so.
Maybe in 10~15 years though.
It takes a lot more than passing a MS test or two to qualify one to care for and feed a large infrastructure.
I wish I was that good at taking tests when I was his age.
