I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but malware wouldn't use a large amount of disk space. This isn't to the OP's question, norwegian  's post reply seems a good answer to that.
re amount of space that malware can be responsible for - if malware creates a hidden drive, the amount of space is only limited by the size of the hidden drive irrespective of the file size of the malware that created the drive. |
