Re: [Rant] UPS delivery will not ring the doorbell said by Bamafan2277:I have the same issue with UPS. My elderly mother is home all day and it takes her about a minute to get up and get to the door. UPS will knock or ring the door bell and by the time she gets to the door the driver is in his truck and driving off without leaving the pacakge.
I've been home before and seen the driver pull up. I get up and he's knocking on the door. by the time I get there he's turned around and walking off. all within 10 seconds.
I know they have to deliver all their packages before they can go home but this is a bit extreme.

| The drivers are unionized. There's no way they are paid by such a dumb metric as stops per hour. If they were, drivers servicing rural locations would get screwed. |
