| Help us out, is it the MacBook Air that is the issue, or the MacBook Pro? The neither should take a long time to wake from sleep though. The SMC reset should fix things, though you could also boot into recovery mode and use disk utility to repair disk.
My MacBook wakes up fast, probably 4 seconds or so, my MacBook Air is pretty much immediate.
