I can almost swear this quote came from an old arcade game, where you fly around a space ship that drills/bump into rocks and things, then this big ass octagon boss with a face chase after you, and he says this. Can't remember the name of the game though.
You're thinking of the old arcade game Sinistar, and the lines were similar but not the same, it said things like Run, Coward! and I hunger, coward! and Beware, I live!.
